About Signatas

Why we built it

Most electronic signing tools are good at collecting a signature and quiet about what the signature proves. When a signed document is later questioned, the argument is almost never 'the bytes were altered' — it is 'I did not agree to that', or 'nobody told me it would be electronic'. Signatas is built around answering those questions, not around a decorative certificate.

So every ceremony captures consent and intent to sign, records them tamper-evidently, and produces a record you can verify yourself. And where a document type carries execution formalities — a will, a deed, a power of attorney — we flag it and point you to advice, rather than cheerfully accepting it and leaving you to find out later.

What we are not

We are not a law firm, and we do not give legal advice. We can tell you what our records show; we cannot tell you whether a particular document will hold up where you need it to. That is a lawyer's job, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
